RBI Assistant Recruitment 2023: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the recruitment notification for 450 Assistant posts. With the publication of the advertisement, applications have also begun. The registration link has been activated on the official website of RBI www.rbi.org. The last date of registration is October 4, 2023. The exam fee will also have to be paid between September 13 and October 4. The preliminary exam will be held on the 21st and 23rd of September. 10. Mains exam scheduled on December 2, 2023. For these posts, RBI will conduct national competitive exam. First, there will be a preliminary inspection. Accordingly, successful candidates will have to take the main exam, after which they will also have to take the Language Proficiency Test (LPT).
1. Professional qualifications
Required to have a bachelor's degree in any subject from a recognized university with a minimum score of 50%. There is no 50 percent condition for OBC, SC and ST, just pass.Knowledge of computer word processing is required.
2. Age limit:
Minimum 20 years old, maximum 28 years old. Age will be calculated from September 1, 2023. This means candidates cannot be born before September 2, 1995 and after September 1, 2003. SC and ST will get age relaxation of 5 years and OBC will get three years old.
3.Salary:
Starting basic salary will be Rs.20,700/- per month. Then the salary scale will be 20,700 – 1,200 (3) – 24,300 – 1,440 (4) – 30,060 – 1,920 (6) – 41,580 – 2,080 (2) – 45,740 – 2,370 (3) – 52,850 –. 2850 – 55700 (20 years). And other allowances such as DA, TA,..
4. Registration Fee

5. Selection process
To be selected for appointment to these positions, candidates will have to pass 3 online tests: preliminary exam, main exam and foreign language proficiency test (LPT).
6. Exam format
- The preliminary exam will last 1 hour with 100 questions worth 100 points.
- In which, there will be 30 questions about English, 35 questions about calculation ability and 35 questions about reasoning ability.
- Candidates who pass the preliminary round will be eligible to participate in the main exam.
7- Main exam
- 200 questions worth 200 marks will be asked in the main exam, candidates will have 135 minutes.
- In this context, 40 to 40 questions will be asked on reasoning, English, numeracy, general awareness and computer science.
- Expect to get negative marks in the preliminary exam and main exam. For each incorrect answer, one quarter of a point will be deducted.
8. Main exam pattern and LPT
Candidates pre-selected based on their results in the main exam will have to sit for the Language Proficiency Test (LPT). - The LPT exam will be conducted in the local language used in the relevant area.
