Ability
Science class
- Passed class 12th with Maths, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks and 50% marks in English OR
- 03 years Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate with 50% marks in English in Diploma course OR
- 2 Year Vocational Course with Non Vocational Subjects Physics & Mathematics from any recognized board with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Facilities provided to Agniveer
- Under the Agneepath scheme, Agniveers will serve in the Indian Air Force for 04 years.
- Agniveers will be given 10% reservation in Assam Rifles after 04 years of service.
- Agniveer will be given importance in state police recruitment by Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and other states.
- During service, Agniveers will be given life insurance of Rs 48 lakh by LIC.
- After retirement from service, Agniveer will be given “Agniveer Skill Certificate”.
- Agniveers will be given 30 days leave in a year but sick leave will be given on medical advice.
- After completion of 04 years of service, soldiers will be given an amount of Rs 5.02 lakh as corpus fund.
- Agniveer who attains martyrdom during service will be given a sum of Rs 1 crore.
